PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CP Prima) conducted earthquake and tsunami emergency response drill simulation at two operational sites: Anyer on September 23, 2026, and Pangandaran on October 8, 2026. This initiative reflects the company's commitment to strengthening occupational health and safety practices and enhancing employee preparedness for potential natural disasters.
The simulations involved Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) teams, Emergency Response Teams, and employees at each location. Participants gained practical knowledge regarding personal protection procedures during an earthquake—including the "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" technique—as well as evacuation protocols to reach safety points in the event of a tsunami threat.
Beyond training individual responses, the activity aimed to test the Emergency Response Team's readiness to coordinate evacuations, disseminate emergency information, and conduct personnel headcounts to ensure everyone had reached safety. Post-simulation evaluations were crucial for identifying challenges and determining areas for improvement, ranging from communication protocols to the readiness of evacuation routes.
Through this initiative, CP Prima continues to foster a culture of safety within the workplace. By ensuring a solid understanding of procedures, effective coordination, and employee preparedness, the company strives to create a safer and more resilient work environment capable of handling various potential emergencies.
