Contribution for Blitar: Consume Fish, for a Smarter Generation

Tuesday, May 27, 2025, PT Central Proteina Prima (CPP) held Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) together with the Regent of Blitar at an event in Pendopo Sasana Adi Praja, Blitar Regency (Kanigoro). This event served as a tangible expression of CPP's commitment to improving community well-being through cross-sector collaboration that reaches various layers of society.

The event began with a symbolic handover ceremony of packages of fresh tilapia fish, then distributed 1,500 kg frozen red tilapia to beneficiary families, including pregnant women, persons with disabilities, female heads of households (PEKKA), and families at risk of stunting in the Blitar area. This program acted as a simple yet impactful nutritional intervention, utilizing tilapia as a source of local protein. The distribution process was carried out in an orderly coupon exchange system, ensuring that each recipient received direct and equal access.

The activity continued with a creative cooking competition themed “Weaving the Taste of Fish in Diversity,” involving 50 faith-based community groups under Pokja-1. Each group, consisting of three participants, was challenged to prepare a nutritious and delicious dish using 2 kg of tilapia within 90 minutes. This initiative not only encouraged the community’s creativity in preparing fish-based meals for daily consumption, but also fostered stronger bonds between communities through culinary education and collaboration.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the venue, junior and senior high school students participated in an educational dialogue session focused on reproductive health and stunting prevention. Delivered by relevant speakers using an interactive approach, the session was designed to be easily understood by the younger audience. Beyond the discussion, students were also given a challenge to create mini vlogs documenting the event and relaying the important messages they had learned. Through this digital medium, which resonates with their daily lives, participants were empowered to express themselves and become information advocates within their communities.

CPP believes that education, nutrition, and creative space are key foundations in shaping a healthy and empowered generation. More than just material contributions, we are committed to building a sustainable ecosystem through real collaboration between industry, local communities, and youth. From fish comes goodness. From goodness grows hope — for Blitar, and for Indonesia.
