Scientific Day 2026: Strengthening Scientific Culture and Aquaculture Innovation

On 24 February 2026, CP Prima hosted Scientific Day 2026 as a strategic forum to share knowledge and reinforce a strong scientific culture within the company. The event served as a platform for scientific discussion on the latest developments in the aquaculture sector, while also recognizing scholarship recipients who have successfully completed their master’s degrees.

The four speakers were internal CP Prima talents who pursued advanced studies in strategic fields:

  • Methodius Dignakurnia – Microbiology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institut Pertanian Bogor

  • Nugroho Wiratama – Fishery Science and Technology, Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University

  • Bestran Virlando Panjaitan – Biotechnology, Graduate School, Universitas Gadjah Mada

  • Alki Satria Bharata – Aquaculture Science, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Institut Pertanian Bogor

During their presentations, the speakers shared research findings and academic insights relevant to current industry challenges. Topics included innovations in disease control, improving performance and immunity of cultured commodities, and developing more sustainable biotechnology approaches.

Scientific Day was not only a knowledge-sharing forum but also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to aligning business growth with employee competency development.
