Bangka (30/01/2026). The Company welcomed a working visit by the Regent of Central Bangka, Algafry Rahman, to the vannamei shrimp hatchery facility owned by PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPP) in Lubuk Besar on Friday (30/01/2026). The visit was accompanied by Deputy Regent Efrianda, Central Bangka Regional Secretary Ahmad Syarifullah Nizam, and related officials.

During the visit, Regent Algafry stated that the inspection represented the local government’s support and appreciation for private sector investment that serves as a driver of regional economic growth. Since commencing operations in September 2022, PT CPP Lubuk Besar has recorded significant production growth.

In 2024, vannamei shrimp fry production reached 317 million pieces and increased sharply in 2025 to 593 million pieces. This production not only meets the needs of the Bangka Belitung region but is also distributed to other regions. Vannamei shrimp contributed 75.63 percent, or 1,974.96 tons, of Central Bangka’s total aquaculture production in 2025.
